Electronic bus tickets: how they work
Paper bus tickets are slowly becoming a thing of the past — and that’s a good thing: you can’t leave an e-ticket at home. Here’s how it works and what to do when something doesn’t go to plan.
Where your ticket arrives
Right after you book, the ticket is sent to the email address you provided. All your trips are also saved in your account under "My bookings" — a backup in case the email gets lost in your inbox or ends up in spam.
What to show at boarding
Just open the ticket on your phone — the driver will check your details or scan the code on the ticket. There’s no need to print anything.
If you might end up without internet or battery, take a screenshot of the ticket in advance: it works offline.
The email didn’t arrive — what now
- Check your Spam folder and the Promotions tab.
- Make sure the email address in your booking has no typos.
- Open "My bookings" on the website — your ticket is always there.
- Still can’t find it? Contact support through the "Help" section.
If your plans change
An e-ticket is cancelled online too — right in your account. Refund terms and amounts depend on the rules of the carrier operating your trip: see the "Ticket refunds" page for details.
